Master the Art of Island Hopping

About Silver Airways

Silver Airways is a leading regional airline operating a unique fleet of ATR-42 and ATR-72 turboprop aircraft. We specialize in short, scenic hops across tropical coasts, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean. If you love breathtaking views, fast-paced multi-leg days, and the tight-knit family feel of a smaller airline, our aviation jobs offer a rugged, exciting alternative to the massive mainline carriers.

Job Summary

As a Cabin Safety Manager (Flight Attendant) for Silver Airways, you will often act as the sole flight attendant on board our ATR aircraft. This requires immense confidence, leadership, and an intimate knowledge of aviation safety. You will manage multiple short flights per day, conducting quick turnarounds at picturesque island destinations. This role is physically demanding but incredibly rewarding for those who want true independence in their cabin crew careers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independent Safety Command: Serve as the solitary safety professional onboard. Conduct all pre-flight inspections, safety briefings, and door-arming procedures independently.
  • Multi-Leg Stamina: Execute up to 4 to 6 short flights in a single duty day. You must maintain high energy, rapidly securing the cabin for frequent takeoffs and landings.
  • Weight & Balance Monitoring: Due to the nature of smaller turboprop aircraft, actively monitor passenger seating arrangements to assist the flight deck with critical weight and balance calculations.
  • Tropical Hospitality: Provide warm, efficient service on short sectors, assisting tourists and locals alike with their diverse travel needs.

Benefits & Culture

  • Fast Upgrades: A smaller airline means rapid advancement. Gain seniority quickly compared to massive carriers.
  • Scenic Routes: Trade boring transcontinental flights for low-altitude views of crystal-clear ocean waters and tropical islands.
  • Interline Travel: Enjoy standby travel agreements that allow you to fly globally on major partner airlines.

Requirements

  • Must be 21+ years old with a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Unshakable confidence to manage an entire aircraft cabin without backup.
  • Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally to the Caribbean without restriction.
  • Ability to thrive in the specific operational environment of turboprop aircraft (lower cruising altitudes, different noise profiles).
