Job Summary

As a Baggage Handling Innovator, you will work primarily in the subterranean sortation facilities beneath the airport concourses. Utilizing advanced barcode scanners and automated conveyor matrices, you will intercept, sort, and dispatch thousands of pieces of luggage, ensuring flawless routing. Core Responsibilities

• High-Speed Sortation: Read electronic bag tags and quickly route luggage to the correct flight carts or automated conveyor chutes before departure deadlines.
• Heavy Logistics: Continuously lift, twist, and stack baggage (up to 70 lbs) in a highly physical, fast-paced warehouse-style environment.
• Transfer Operations: Identify and expedite "hot bags" (short connection times) to ensure connecting passengers do not arrive without their belongings.
• Equipment Operations: Drive electric tugs hauling long trains of baggage carts through the complex underground tunnel systems of the airport.
• Security Compliance: Work alongside TSA protocols to ensure all checked baggage has been properly screened and cleared for flight.
