Fly the Leisure Way
About Sun Country Airlines
Sun Country Airlines is a new breed of hybrid carrier, blending the best of scheduled leisure flying with elite charter operations. We fly everyday vacationers to sunny destinations and operate specialized VIP charter flights for collegiate sports teams and the military. If you are seeking flight attendant jobs that offer incredible variety rather than the same routine day after day, our airline offers a truly unique path in the aviation industry.
Job Summary
As a Charter & Leisure Flight Attendant, you will be the face of our relaxed, friendly brand. You will operate primarily on our Boeing 737 fleet. Because of our unique business model, you might fly a scheduled route to a tropical beach one week, and the next week you could be staffing a private charter for a major university football team. You must be adaptable, extremely welcoming, and capable of pivoting your service style from standard retail sales to bespoke VIP catering.
Key Responsibilities
- Dynamic Service Execution: Seamlessly transition between selling onboard snacks/beverages on scheduled flights and executing specialized, high-end catering on private charter operations.
- Safety Command: Conduct rigorous pre-flight safety briefings and emergency equipment checks. You are the ultimate authority on cabin safety, regardless of who is on board.
- Charter Logistics: Work closely with charter coordinators to ensure specialized team equipment, specific dietary requests, and passenger manifests are handled with absolute discretion and accuracy.
- In-Flight Sales: Drive revenue on scheduled flights through the enthusiastic promotion and sale of our localized food and beverage partnerships.
Benefits & Culture
- Standby Travel: Excellent flight privileges for you and your family on our growing network.
- Schedule Variety: Experience a mix of day-turns and exciting multi-day layovers in premium vacation destinations.
- Health & Retirement: Comprehensive medical benefits and a robust 401(k) program.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old with a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional flexibility to handle dynamic scheduling and sudden operational changes.
- Ability to pass a rigorous FAA background check and intensive initial training program.
